In certain open and chaotic quantum systems it has been observed numercially, that the quantum resonances form striking patterns along characteristic chains in the complex plane.
In this talk we will investigate the reasons for the formation of these chains and prove their existance on three funneled Schottky surfaces in a certain geometrical limit in the Teichmüller space.
